Well, the Gringiticasa is finally done, and we're living in it now. There will always be small little crap to finish like hanging up a towel rack here and there or chasing lizards out of the living room, but that's just part of owning a home, I guess. In any case, here are the definitive "done" pictures of the Gringiticasa, and with them, I will also just about call this blog "done"! Thanks for reading, and we hope to have you visit soon!

So, that's about it for now for this blog. I'll see about expanding it or creating a new one related to the landscaping or the Crappy Casita, if anyone would be interested in that (possibly not). In the meantime, please receive my warmest thanks for checking out the blog and for all the time and encouragement you've given while I've been writing this blog. It was fun to do, and a good idea at that (Thanks, Kris!).
We'll hope to see you in Berlín de San Rafaél de San Ramón de Alajuela de Costa Rica very soon!

Hey,
Wasn't sure if I would live long enough to see the completion!!! Looks great, and thanks for the pictures!!!
Kris
As my shop teacher at FCHS would testify, I'm not much for construction, however a) I still think the house looks nice and unique and I'm glad I didn't help out and b) this means I'm a little bit better at DE-struction. If you want me to head down there with a sledge, I can probably have that casita taken care of in about a half day. I work for rice and beans.
Paul,
We'd take you up on your offer, but we replaced the roof already, in hopes of saving it. Any way you could save the tin?
Also, it's much better to be a Destructionist and a Deconstructionist. Also the reading list is a lot lighter.
Oh wow. It looks great, Sitzman! And what are u talking about? Angela's office looks good. You don't need to have all kinds of crap in your office, you know. It's the tico way! :p
This is the most beautiful house I have ever seen! I am honored to be visiting soon!
Also, didn't PP throw up on that color block rug? Not to spoil the vibe, but ...
Angie,
Thanks! Also, You only saw half of Angela's office. The other side is full of crap. For me, the minimalist way IS better.
Annie,
We can't wait for you to come! Also, yes, Pussy Pie threw up on the rug, mos def. Laying on it is just Coochie Fly's way of honoring his memory.
